Financial Support and Donations

You can make a difference in a child's life in a variety of ways that best fit your resources and skills. One of the ways that you can get involved in A Better Way's mission is to make tax-deductible cash and/or in-kind gifts.

Your dollars will fund services that directly support our children and their families. Some of our programs that are not funded by county fees-for-service and therefore need financial help from private individuals like you are the Foster/Adoptive Parent Training and Ongoing Support and the Mentor-Tutor Program for our foster children. We are also raising funds to improve the condition of our building exterior and to launch a Self-Reliance Program for emancipating foster youth. You can make a contribution by:

• Pledging to make regular donations
• Ask your company to match your donation to A Better Way
• Introducing us to other potential donors
• Introducing our organization to your company's employee-giving program
• Supporting our fundraising events (please see our events section for more information)
• Raising money for A Better Way when shopping at stores in your community (ask us about escrip)
• Giving From The Heart: Our annual holiday gift drive for our foster children. You can help make a child’s holiday wish come true by donating new gifts or gift cards.
• In-Kind Donations: A Better Way currently needs in-kind donations in the form of toys, new infant clothes, a television, tickets (to sporting events, theater, movies, etc.) as well as office equipment, furniture, and supplies.
