A Better Way’s Transitional Housing + Foster Care (THP+FC) is a program for young adults ages 18-21 that provides a safe and supported transition out of foster care.
In California, over 4,000 teens age out of foster care every year, often without housing, a source of income, adult encouragement, or community support. Without these critical resources, these young adults are significantly more likely to experience homelessness, poverty, low educational attainment, and poor health compared to others their age.
Through THP+FC, A Better Way offers the services for foster youth to transform their lives and fulfill their potential.
The THP+FC program currently has several openings for young men. For more information, call us at 510-424-4061.
